Founder, Injectable + Aesthetic Care Provider

Leela (she/her) is a Registered Nurse and the founder of The Lounge. Her nursing journey has taken her from the wondrous villages of Nepal to California, Colorado, and ultimately to Bend, Oregon.

With a strong foundation in critical care nursing, Leela's approach with The Lounge focuses on safety and evidence-based treatments. This background inspired her to offer non-surgical care options, helping people feel more comfortable and at home in their bodies. Leela is dedicated to creating new pathways to care through insurance-billed services and the True You program, making gender-affirming care accessible to all.

Leela brings a deep understanding of trauma to her approach, fostering a safe, affirming environment where every person feels seen and valued. She believes in compassionate communication and ensures that everyone she treats is met with humility, dignity, and respect.

When she’s not at The Lounge, you’ll find Leela wrangling her two young kiddos and sharing plenty of laughs with her spouse.

Medical Director

Dr. Darnell (he/his) is a board certified emergency medicine physician in Portland, OR. He grew up and obtained his education in the Southeast, graduating from Mercer University School of Medicine in Georgia and completing his residency at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute in Virginia.

Dr. Tyler is passionate about emergency medicine and continues to serve the community in the emergency department. In addition he owns and operates his own medical aesthetics practice, Limelight Medical Aesthetics. His personal interest in aesthetics and cosmeceuticals, combine with his procedural skills and detailed assessments, creating a one of a kind aesthetic experience for his clients.

Injector + Aesthetic Care Provider

Holly (she/her) is excited to join The Lounge team! This opportunity aligns perfectly with her passion for aesthetics, and she is excited to offer weekend treatments to those with weekday commitments.

Her journey in aesthetics began at the age of 12 when her mother introduced her to cosmetics at the MAC counter. Holly believes that aesthetics is more than just appearance; it serves as a powerful means of self-expression and empowerment. When individuals feel confident in their skin, they can achieve remarkable things, even the simple act of starting each day.

For the past 6 years, she has worked as an operating room nurse at St. Charles, transitioning to a quality analyst position in the perioperative setting. She has also trained under a plastic surgeon in cosmetic injections before relocating to Bend. Holly is excited to return to the aesthetic field and continue to learn alongside Leela and Dr. Tyler, while providing exceptional and safe cosmetic treatments.

With her trauma-informed training, she prioritizes safety and aims to empower individuals throughout their treatment journeys. Holly is particularly enthusiastic about offering gender-affirming care, as the values and mission of The Lounge resonate deeply with their own beliefs. Everyone deserves happiness, and here, individuals are embraced as they are. She looks forward to helping others discover the beauty she sees within each person!

Clinic Manager

As the Clinic Manager, Jordan (they/them) brings over 14 years of experience in hospitality and more than 6 years in management and non-profit leadership to their role. They are dedicated to creating a welcoming atmosphere and establishing a strong business structure that aligns with the clinic's goals and vision.

As a trans non-binary individual who has personally experienced both surgical and non-surgical gender-affirming treatments, Jordan is passionate about creating accessible pathways for others to receive the safety and confidence that aesthetic care can provide. Their mission is to ensure that every individual feels valued and supported in every aspect of their aesthetic journey.

They deeply value generosity, honesty, and humor, believing that these principles foster a positive and inclusive environment. Outside of work, Jordan is an enthusiastic pet parent to their beloved pitbull, Gottmik (Mik), and avid traveler with their partner, Ahdri.

They are excited to contribute to The Lounge's mission and to support each individual in realizing their own beauty and confidence!
